
Easton, Mass. (May 4) -- Saint Anselm men's lacrosse senior midfielder Steve Trocki (Braintree, Mass.) and junior attack Chris Murphy (Winchester, Mass.) have both been honored as a Northeast-10 Second Team All-Conference selections.
Trocki had 29 points on 25 goals and four assists in 15 games for the Hawks. He also had four hat tricks, eight multi-goal games, two game-winning goals and six man-up goals. He also had 35 groundballs, seven caused turnovers and with an assist in the NE-10 Tournament game at Saint Michael's, scored his 100th career point.
Murphy was the team’s leading scorer with 50 points on 34 goals and 16 assists, all career highs for the junior. He also added two game-winning goals, three man-up goals and 36 groundballs. Murphy surpassed the 100 career point mark earlier this season in a seven-goal outburst in an overtime win over Southern New Hampshire.
The Hawks finished the season with an 8-7 overall record and tied a Saint Anselm school record with a 6-4 mark in the Northeast-10.
