Easton, Mass. (May 6) -- Saint Anselm junior attack Michaela Rocha (Rye, N.H.) has been named to the Northeast-10 Women's Lacrosse All-Academic Team, as announced on Tuesday by the Northeast-10 Office. The team was voted on by the Northeast-10 sports information directors.

Rocha, the team's leading point scorer, tied the Saint Anselm single-season school record with a 61-point season in 2008. She finished with 43 goals and 18 assists, along with 17 groundballs, 20 draw controls and three caused turnovers.

Rocha is a politics major at Saint Anselm with a 3.44 cumulative grade point average. A finalist for the Anselmian Athletic Club Female Athlete of the Year Award, she was also inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma, the National Student-Athlete Honor Society.
