Bob Conway enters his second season on the Saint Anselm staff as an assistant coach.
Conway, a native of Lowell, Mass., is a 1967 graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in mathematics and then earned his MAT in geography from Salem State College. He comes to Saint Anselm with 39 years of coaching experience at a variety of levels. He has been as assistant coach at both Chelmsford (Mass.) and Lowell (Mass.) high schools, as well as the head coach of the Lowell and North Chelmsford American Legion teams.
Since 2000, Conway has been the assistant general manager of the Lowell All-Americans of the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL) and prior to that coached to Leominster Collegiates of the NECBL.
Conway has international coaching experience as well, conducting clinics in Nicaragua, Panama, France, and Costa Rica. He is an active member of the American Baseball Coaches Association and the International Baseball Association. He is currently a math teacher at Lowell High School and resides in Lowell, Mass.
