Asst. Coach - Matt Glauser

Matt Glauser joins the staff for his first season as an assistant coach.

Glauser grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he attended Orem and Mountain View High School from 1979-81. He was a three-year varsity baseball player and as a senior, was selected to the Utah All-State team as a shortstop. Upon graduation, Glauser received a four-year scholarship to play baseball at the University of Utah. After his freshman year in 1982, Glauser was called to serve an 18-month Mormon mission in Nagoya, Japan. Upon returning in 1984, Glauser rejoined the Utes, became the team's starting second basemen and led the team with a .410 average in the Western Athletic Conference. For his performance, Glauser was named as a Second Team All-WAC selection. In 1985, the Utah Utes led the nation in batting with a .365 team average as Glauser was again the team's starting second baseman. He finished his four-year career with a batting average of over .350.

Glauser's coaching career started in 1995 where he started coaching Babe Ruth 13-14 year old boys in Arlington, Texas, and he continues to coach many young Goffstown area ball players today. He has served as the Goffstwon Little League coaches' training director from 2004-06, where over 400 children participate yearly. Glauser specializes in the art of hitting, as well as infield training.

Glauser resides in Goffstown, N.H., with his wife, Kathe, and his sons, Jake and Nick. Matt and Kathe are both employed by American Airlines.
