Finnigan joins the Saint Anselm softball staff for his first season in 2005. Finnigan is no stranger to the coaching scene, having coached in the Manchester Girl's Softball League since 1990.

In 1992, he took over as the head coach of the Senior Division, ages 13-16, and remained at the helm until 2000. From 1996 to 1999 he served on the Board of Directors for the league. He has also been the JV softball coach for the last four years at Manchester Central High School. He has also coached the freshman boy's basketball team for the last six years.

He started college at Saint Anselm in 1975 before transferring to the University of New Hampshire-Manchester.

Finnigan currently resides in Manchester, N.H. and owns and operates a deli & catering a business in Bedford.
