ABOUT GRAPPONE STADIUM:

Grappone Stadium is the centerpiece of the revival of football at Saint Anselm College.

The stadium complex seats a capacity crowd of 4,500 which includes 2,500 in the stadium’s grandstand seats.

The stadium is one of the most sophisticated not only in the Eastern Football Conference, but in NCAA Division II and NCAA Division III football throughout the northeast region.

The entire superstructure spans 272 feet and is over 70 feet wide. At its highest point, it rises 66 feet into the air which includes a two story state of the art press box.

Conveniently located just 1 mile from New Hampshire's route 114, and a five minute drive from route 293 as well as downtown Manchester, NH, the new football stadium has placed Saint Anselm's facilities among the leaders of Division II college football.

Grappone Stadium, named in honor of John and Ruth Grappone of Concord, NH, was built with more than just football in mind. The facility possesses the capacity to host large crowds for outdoor events as well as other civic uses.

Underneath the grandstand, fans will find amenities not usually found in Division II or III football venues.

Both home and visiting teams have been allowed private locker room space including restroom and shower facilities.

A small auxiliary training area provides for any necessary immediate medical attention.

Patrons will also enjoy designated concession areas as well as the opportunity to stock up on select Saint Anselm football and Saint Anselm College merchandise. The grandstand underbelly also includes private officials and game administration rooms.

The Press Box at Grappone Stadium may be its most impressive feature. With a secure and private entrance, the press facility rises two floors and includes over 1,500 square feet of work space providing top amenities such as private radio and television broadcasting booths, private coaches booths and game administration areas.

Print media and sports information also claim private working space while the second level includes a 480 square foot President’s Box.
