Fatoumata Diawara and Band
A Joyous and Exotic Blend of Arresting Melodies and Intricate Guitar!
Born in Cote d'Ivoire, raised in Mali, living in Paris, the astonishing young singer/guitarist Fatoumata Diawara was recognized by Songlines magazine as 2011's Best New Artist, and has been called "the most beguiling talent to hit the world music scene in some time" by reviewers and audiences alike.
