Cheskey recording artist and Grammy contender Louise Rogers has a voice that has been called "pure and innocent, free of affectation" (Christopher Loudon, Jazz Times). Andrew Rowan's review in All About Jazz characterizes her as "a singer with great chops and a warm, witty approach to a song." Think Sheila Jordan, June Christy and (perhaps especially) Anita O'Day, and you will have some idea of the "stylistic territory" Ms. Rogers occupies with those jazz greats.
