Chic Gamine & DeTemps Antan

Make that a French accent that translates into a night of the most innovative French Canadian music on earth! Juno Award winning Chic Gamine, a roguishly charming vocal quintet backed by a solo percussionist boasts a brand of soulful singing that knows no boundaries. From Southern Gospel R&B and 50s Doo-Wop to Brazilian forro and French Chanson, a fresh and funky stage show unfolds. Once the curtain goes up, these effervescent song makers and their vintage chic vibe pick up the beat with pure soul and passion, leaving no one behind.

Blending boundless energy with the unmistakable joie de vivre found only in traditional Quebec music, former La BoZine Souriante band members Eric Beaudry, Andre Brunet and Pierre-Luc Dupuis are having great fun in re-inventing the musical wheel as De Temps Antan. Their signature style erupts in deep-rooted couplets and sudden, impromptu shifts that speak to familiar rhythms of the past utilizing a few of their favorite tools of the trade -- fiddle, accordion, harmonica, guitar and bouzouki.
