Thoroughly Modern Millie

New Music by Jeanine Tesori | New Lyrics by Dick Scanlan Book by Dick Scanlan and Richard Henry Morris Original Story and Screenplay by Richard Morris for the Universal Pictures Film

Winner of six 2002 Tony Awards including Best Musical, Thoroughly Modern Millie brings the Roaring Twenties to life with a collection of snappy and memorable tunes and vibrant dance numbers. Fresh from her family's farm in Kansas, Millie Dillmount travels to New York City to lead a new, thoroughly modern lifestyle and adventure ensues. Millie desires to make her dream of parlaying a stenographer job into a wealthy husband a reality. Instead she finds herself in the middle of a much more nefarious scheme complete with a vile villainess, starry-eyed young actresses, and an international slave trade. Based on the popular movie, please join the Players as they highlight fabulous flappers and the spectacle of 1920s New York in the big, fun-filled Thoroughly Modern Millie.
