| Have you ever looked at a strange and unusual animal, and wondered how it worked? How does it feed? Where does it go during the day, or at night? How does it defend itself? With what other species does it interact?
For most non-vertebrate species, we actually know very little about their biology, and such questions still provide rich material for basic research. Our lab focuses on the biology of marine invertebrates, and how their adaptations in physiology or behavior affect their interactions with other species or the environment. |
