Recylcling at Saint Anselm College

The primary focus of the recycling program at Saint Anselm College is on white paper and mixed paper. All paper, except paperboard (e.g., cereal boxes) can be recycled in the blue recycling bins. This includes:

• newspaper,

• mixed paper,

• computer paper,

• envelopes with or without plastic windows,

• mailing envelopes,

• glossy paper,

• phonebooks,

• magazines,

• fax paper.

We are also recycling soda cans in all buildings on campus. There are several dormitories with active recycling programs. They are recycling plastics (number 1 and 2) and glass. Contact your RA or look for the appropriate contact people in your dorm for information and recycling updates. More information on recycling will be available later.

Recycling Committee

The Recycling Committee is looking for new members. If you are interested in participating please contact me at jpitocch@hawk.anselm.edu.

We are also looking for ideas to develop a recycling competion among the dorms on campus with an award going to the dorm that recycles the largest quantity of recyclable materials. Please forward any ideas you might have to my e-mail address.
