Individualized research experience in the biological sciences is conducted under the direction of a biology faculty member. There are also opportunities to conduct interdisciplinary research with members of the Chemistry, Physics, and Psychology Departments. This experience includes literature searching, hypothesis development and testing, graphical and statistical analysis, and oral and written presentation. It is open only to upper-class students who have applied for and been admitted into a position in a science faculty's research laboratory. Two sequential semesters must be taken to earn credit.
