Individualized research experience in the biological sciences is conducted under the direction of a biology
faculty
member. There are also opportunities to conduct interdisciplinary research with members of the
Chemistry
,
Physics
, and
Psychology
Departments. This experience includes literature searching, hypothesis development and testing, graphical and statistical analysis, and oral and written presentation. It is open only to upper-class students who have applied for and been admitted into a position in a science
faculty's
research laboratory. Two sequential semesters must be taken to earn credit. For
