Environmental Science Program

Class of 2005 and Beyond


 ~ Students in the class of 2005 and beyond, work closely in consultation with a faculty advisor to design the student's course schedule to insure that the requirements for the program are met. This schedule must include a minimum of six (6) basic science courses and eight (8) environmental core courses. These courses are as follows:

Basic Science Courses Environmental Core Courses Research/Internship Experience

 ~ Each Environmental Science student is required to gain additional laboratory or field experience by 1) enrolling in either Independent Research in Biology (BI 21-22) or Research and Seminar (CH 50-51) in Chemistry, 2) participating in the Washington Internship Program (BI 50), or 3) by developing an individual internship program with direction from the Department Chairman (BI 51 and/or 52).
