Tiberius tells Livia to stick . . . it
In Graves, Livia and Plancina cut a deal before the testy Tiberius tirade, but otherwise this is directly from the novel. There is nothing in the ancient sources about a letter from Livia to Piso, but evidence abounds concerning Tiberius' and Livia's uneasy relationship and her use of the official seal. As for Livia pulling out the moldy 'Tiberius sucks' correspondence from Augustus, Suetonius is the source.
