The Computer Science degree programs are intended to prepare students for work in
graduate studies or industry. Course subjects will study both
computing theory as well as application and acquaint students
with both hardware and software. Three major programs allow
students to follow one of three different concentrations:
Program requirements involve
studies in Discrete Mathematics and
introduction to
programming. Additional requirements may more specifically
involve additional studies in computer architecture, programming
languages, applications and
operating systems. Additional
elective courses are also available such as
Computer Graphics, Internet and
Web Systems and Human Computer Interaction. The
business and mathematics programs have course requirements from
