Meeting Minutes 10/08/01Hello Everyone, Here is a summary of the topics that were discussed at yesterday's meeting.
-- The election of junior officers was postponed until the next meeting because so few juniors were present at this one. Anyone who is interested in being a junior officer who did not attend this meeting should contact one of the officers.
-- NEPA: The poster that Psi Chi members (Katie, Christine and Colette) will be presenting about building an effective chapter was discussed. Information about the arrangements of the overnight stay in Connecticut is available from Barbara.
-- EPA: Seniors, the first EPA deadline is fast approaching. The first one is October 15th, but remember that you need data in order to submit. The second and final deadline is December 15th for poster presenations only.
-- Fundraising: A few fundraising ideas were proposed such as a t-shirts and possibly a haunted hayride or a raffle for a horse and buggy ride. Anyone interested in working on one or both of these ideas or anyone with new ideas should contact an officer with their suggestions.
-- We also discussed possibly visiting Professor Hechtl's farm (or the retreat house if the farm isn't available) on Saturday, November 3rd. More information regarding this event will given out as soon as it is available.
