I
would first like to thank my family for helping me throughout this semester.
Whenever I was stressed or panicking, I would always call home and find
the comfort and strength that I needed. I apologize at times when I was
not in the best of moods or when I would constantly complain that my work
seemed never ending, but no matter what mood I was in my family was always
there to support me and listen to me. My mom, my dad, and my sister have
been extremely understanding with the workload I have had this semester,
and have been my shoulder to lean on whenever things started to become
overwhelming.
I would also like to thank Professor Troisi because
he has been the backbone for me accomplishing the hardest task I ever endured
here at Saint Anselm College. He was an excellent instructor who provided
me with knowledge that I will take with me for the rest of my life. He
guided me through my own research project that I never thought I could
do. I would like to thank him for his patience when I was stressed and
his persistence in never letting me give up. Experimental II was a class
that I never imagined could teach me all that it did.
Professor Finn was also extremely accommodating
in arranging alternating times to use the elliptical machine, since we
were both trying to use the same room at once. He has been very helpful
in providing me with the materials that I used throughout my experiment,
mainly the elliptical machine and the polar heart rate monitor. He also
taught me how to properly use these materials. Thank you very much for
all of your help, I really appreciate it.
I would also like to thank Barbara, the department
secretary, because she helped me more than she knows. She was always available
to answer any questions I had, whether it was about posting my sign-up
sheet or asking her to look up information for me, she was absolutely amazing.
Thank you so much for being so organized and always knowing how to do everything.
I appreciate all of your help. Thank you.
Last, but not least, I cannot thank my roommates
enough for this past semester. They have listened to me yell, complain,
and most of all talk about my thesis probably at least three times a day
since the first day of school in September. They have been exceptionally
understanding and helpful. No matter what I asked of any one of them, they
were always there to listen or to help a hand and I cannot express my gratitude
enough. Katie and Kara, having two roommates as psychology majors probably
got very annoying at times when all Amy and I would do is complain, but
I appreciate you never letting on that you were annoyed and for always
helping out whenever you could. Amy, thank you very much for helping me
through this because you were the one that understood the best. I could
not have done it without you. We finally did it. Here's to a great senior
year. |
