In
this study gender, race and nonverbal behavior will be combined to see
whether a statistical significance in jury selection will be created.
It is believed that after watching a video involving different froms of
nonverbal behavior with males/females and blacks/whites the participants
will give reasons as to why they would or would not want the prospective
candidates on the panel of jurors. It is to be believed that the
participants will pick a juror based on their nonverbal behavior and not
becasue of their race/ethniciy or gender. Though race/ethnicity will
play significant roles they will not be the reasons as to which they choose
to serve as jurors.
