Consent Form I, __________________________________, am being asked to participate in a study investigating computer use and relationships. This project is being conducted under the supervision of Lauren Stagg of Saint Anselm College. The project was approved by Saint Anselm College’s Prof. Finn. From this project, we hope to learn the relationship between Instant Messenger and loneliness in our target population. As a participant in this research, I will be asked to honestly answer questions presented to me during the 45min duration of this project. I understand that the investigation will take every precaution to safeguard the confidentiality of the information I share with them. I know that my responses will be reported in summary form, that my identity will be concealed, and that my name will never be used. I understand that my individual results will not be given to me.
