Over 200,000 circulating books are housed on the Main and Upper Levels of the Library. Access to these collections is via the library catalog. See Collections & Collection Development for more information on the library's collections. The collection of Geisel Library is open to the public for in-house use. Circulation policies are noted below.
Books circulate to Saint Anselm students for 30 days upon presentation of a valid Saint Anselm ID card. Students may borrow two CD's and videos for up to 3 days.
Faculty, Monastery, and staff members may borrow books for one semester and videos for 14 days.
Renewals are possible if the materials are not needed by another patron. Renewals may be made online or by telephone. Call the Circulation Desk at 641-7300. (Please renew Interlibrary Loan books by logging in to your ILL account.)
Reference materials, periodicals, and reserve readings do NOT circulate.
Borrowers will be billed for overdue materials not returned within 21 days. Charges will include replacement costs plus processing fees. The Library reserves the right to revoke library privileges of anyone who has accrued excessive library charges, ignores recall notices, or who willfully damages library property.
Non-Saint Anselm College community patrons may borrow up to 5 books and 2 CD's and videos unless otherwise noted.
Please Remember...
The Circulation Desk closes 15 minutes before the posted Library closing time.
