Down the hall from the stairwell is the Creaghe Room, which contains some of the oldest books in our possession, most of which were donated to the Library by the Order of Saint Benedict. Included among these treasures are a Lutheran Bible printed in 1772 and a miniature edition of An Introduction to the Devout Life by Saint Francis de Sales printed in 1675. This room also doubles as a faculty study lounge, with comfortable chairs and tables offering an alternative workspace to professors' offices. Faculty are encouraged to use this facility, which can be accessed by swiping their faculty ID cards in the reader at the door.
