The Lower Level stacks (at either end of the room) are home to the roughly 2,000 journals and newspapers that comprise our Periodicals Collection. After you find useful articles in our databases and confirm that we have the corresponding journals in our print collection, go to the Lower Level to find them on the shelf. With citations in hand, it is easy to locate a specific journal and volume, since periodicals are arranged alphabetically by title. But it's important to remember that the Library also owns thousands of journals and newspapers in full-text online. From the databases available on our homepage, you can search for, open, and print articles from these online periodicals. To check on our print and electronic holdings of particular journals, search the Journal Finder. To locate newspapers in print and online form, consult the guide on How to Find Newspapers.
