Across from the Circulation Desk is the Reference Desk, which is the place to go for information and research assistance. From your first paper to your last senior thesis, the Reference Librarians are here to teach you how to find the information you need and help you through the research process. You can also call, email, or make an appointment to speak with a Reference Librarian, as explained on the Ask a Librarian page. Librarians can help you locate useful books in the online catalog, search databases for relevant journal articles, request materials from other libraries via Interlibrary Loan, and cite your sources in the proper format.
