ABC News, WMUR-TV and Facebook will hold the final debates before the New Hampshire primary at the Dana Center Saturday, Jan. 5.
The back-to-back debates will be televised nationally starting at 7 p.m. The Republicans will debate first, followed by the Democrats. Each debate will last 90 minutes.
In June, Saint Anselm was the site of the state's first 2008 primary debates, sponsored by CNN, WMUR and the New Hampshire Union Leader. New Hamsphire will hold its first-in-the-nation primary on Tuesday, Jan. 8.
"The fact that Saint Anselm will once again serve as the nation’s classroom as this important exercise in democracy unfolds is a tremendous tribute to all involved," said Father Jonathan.
"By offering our Benedictine hospitality to the candidates and the news media that cover them, we contribute to our national dialogue about the future and underscore our commitment to the proud tradition that is New Hampshire’s first in the nation presidential primary," he said.
