Saint Anselm College welcomes Sen. John McCain, Republican presidential nominee, who will host a rally at the Thomas F. Sullivan Arena Wednesday, Oct. 22. The rally takes place at 9 a.m. a
nd is expected to end at 10:30 a.m.
Anyone interested in attending can register at JohnMcCain.com. There will be no parking available on campus, but the McCain campaign will run shuttle buses from the Macy’s parking lot in Bedford. Information is on the Web site.
Those who cannot attend can join in the excitement tomorrow by watching national news broadcasts or going to the Saint Anselm Web site, where pictures will be posted after the event.
This rally is a reminder that Saint Anselm College offers unique opportunities for students to witness and participate in the democratic process. Many of the college’s most engaged students (politics majors and otherwise) will be working as ushers, guides and emergency personnel.
The college is pleased to extend a Benedictine welcome to Sen. McCain and his campaign, as participants in the democratic process. Other election related events are being held at the college's New Hamsphire Institute of Politics.
