Sr. Pauline Lucier, Campus Minister, Passes Away at 61

Sr. Pauline LucierSr. Pauline Lucier, CSC, of the Sisters of Holy Cross and campus minister at Saint Anselm College, passed away Wednesday, April 29.

"With over 27 years in higher education, Sr. Pauline has been instrumental in the lives of so many young men and women. There are many ways that her presence has been felt from the subtlety of a prayer or a thoughtful note to the strength of her dedication to God, family, students, and Catholic higher education," notes director of campus ministry, Sue Gabert.

"What really stood out however was not only the ‘work’ she did but rather the pastoral care and presence with which she lived. Countless students, faculty, staff, doctors, nurses, family, and friends have witnessed the love of Christ through their encounters with Sr. Pauline. Her deep faith and the grace with which she addressed those in her life and the things of life are the lessons she taught to the very end."

From 2002 until the time of her death, Sr. Pauline served as campus minister at Saint Anselm College.
