This year's Distinguished Lecture Series at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics will focus on the American presidency. The series began with a lecture from Saint Anselm professor emeritus Vincent Capowski who was a faculty member from 1956 to 1996 and who is well known among alumni and friends for his course in the American presidency.

In October, the NHIOP will welcome Dr. Robert Remini, considered the country's foremost expert on Andrew Jackson. Dr. Remini lectures extensively in the United States and abroad and was one of four keynote speakers at We the People, the White House conference on history, civics and service.
