Expert in New Hampshire Primary is First NHIOP Visiting Scholar
Dean SpiliotesDean Spiliotes has joined Saint Anselm College as the New Hampshire Institute of Politics' first visiting scholar, with a one-year appointment. His particular research interest is in the New Hampshire presidential primary.

Spiliotes taught government at Dartmouth College from 1995 to 2003. He holds a bachelor's degree in history from Haverford College, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in political science from the University of Chicago.

His work has been published widely in scholarly journals and he wrote the book, Vicious Cycle: Presidential Decision Making in the American Political Economy. His political commentary appears in national news broadcasts and newspapers.
