Since graduating with a degree in fine arts, Mindy Dupre has moved out of the art studio and into the courtroom. After working in the graphic design business for a year and a half, she found herself becoming more interested in criminal justice. She earned a paralegal certificate by taking courses at night while working in the New Hampshire State Senate. Next, she earned a law degree from Franklin Pierce Law Center and took a job in the Merrimack County Attorney's office.
In April, Dupre started her new job as assistant county attorney for Rockingham County, prosecuting cases in Plaistow District Court for the towns of Kingston, Hampstead, Atkinson, Plaistow, and Newton. Needless to say, her dad (Associate Professor Michael Dupre '66) is proud of her… as are brothers Michael '89, Mark '94, and Matthew '95.
