Primary Sources Provides Political Access

The New Hampshire Institute of Politics (NHIOP) kicked off its Primary Sources series in January, with speeches by presidential candidate Rev. Al Sharpton and veteran Washington Post political reporter David Broder. Presidential candidates Sen. John Edwards and Congressman Richard Gephardt met with students and the public at the institute in February.

The Primary Sources series is one of NHIOP's programs aimed at educating people about the New Hampshire presidential primary and creating opportunities to participate in the political process. The NHIOP has extended speaking invitations to all presidential candidates and to others who are part of the dialogue in national and New Hampshire politics. Other recent Primary Source guests include candidate Gary Hart and political strategist Bill Shaheen.

For further information on any NHIOP events, visit the NHIOP Web site or call (603) 222-4100.
