Maurice Bois '39

Maurice Bois, 85, died on January 7, 2003, in Bedford, Mass. after suffering from Alzheimer's disease. Bois was a 1939 Saint Anselm graduate and former state Supreme Court justice.

After graduating from Saint Anselm, Bois went on to study law at Fordham University in New York and to receive his law degree from Boston University. He also served in the U.S. Army during World War II and as U.S. Attorney in New Hampshire from 1954-1961. Having served on the state Supreme Court from 1976 to 1983, Bois was well-known for his famous opinions and publicized court decisions.

His family includes a son, Peter, and daughter, Pam Sleeper.
