Student Ambassador Program Named

Program Named for NHIOP’s Ultimate Ambassador

The NHIOP student ambassador program has been named in honor of a trustee and former president of the Massachusetts State Senate. College President Fr. Jonathan DeFelice, O.S.B., announced the Kevin Harrington Student Ambassador Program at a ceremony May 1. The program involves 25 Saint Anselm students in leadership roles in support of institute events.

“As a trustee of Saint Anselm College, Kevin Harrington has played a critical role in the planning for the New Hampshire Institute of Politics, and was a vocal proponent of the addition of civic education programs for Saint Anselm students and the broader public,” Fr. Jonathan said.

Anne Broderick Botteri, NHIOP executive director, said, “It is fitting that the student ambassador program bear the name of this distinguished public servant and long-time friend of the college who inspired these core components of our current mission.”
