NYC Alums Launch Business Roundtable
More than 30 New York City area alumni gathered on April 28 for the first New York City Business Roundtable. Modeled after the highly successful Boston Business Roundtable, the New York City event featured guest speaker Joseph Sweeney ’83, senior vice president and general manager of Banking, Brokerage & Manager Products for American Express.

Kat Menard ’03, has organized a small committee of alumni to foster networking and professional development opportunities for NYC alumni. The group is also looking to recruit alumni to serve as mentors for current students. The committee hopes to hold another networking event in this fall.

Alumni on Ice
Approximately 100 alumni and their families laced up their skates for the second Alumni Open Skate (the first Alumni Skate was during Homecoming 2003.) Since this event had been requested by many alums and it was well attended, the Office of Alumni Relations is hoping to plan two alumni open skates per year in the future.

“Egg”– citing Fun
Despite the rain, nearly 300 alums and their children took part in the annual Manchester Chapter Easter Egg Hunt on April 14. This event is held every year following the Palm Sunday Mass. A special thanks to the Easter Bunny for making his yearly visit to Saint Anselm College.
