The deadline for the 2008 Civic Leadership Academy is May 15, 2008.  Applications received after the priority deadline will be reviewed and considered as long as there is available space in the program.  Applicants must be New Hampshire high school students (including graduating seniors) who are at least 16 years old by the program start date. Coursework in political science or government is not required to attend the CLA. Students with an interest in public service, civic life, and New Hampshire politics are encouraged to apply. (Graduates of past CLA programs are not eligible to apply.) Scholarships are available.
