Eight thought provoking films will be shown at this unique festival that celebrates the efforts of documentary filmmakers to fight for justice and dignity for all people around the world. [February 24, 2007]

An Inconvenient Truth, former Vice President Al Gore’s documentary about Global Warming and was followed by discussion with Dr. William Moomaw, Director of the Center for International Environment and Resource Policy at the Fletcher School, Tufts University. [November 30, 2006]

The Power of the Sun, a documentary produced by Nobel Prize recipient, Walter Kohn, was shown in the NHIOP Auditorium and was followed by a panel discussion moderated by Professor Baudot.  The film explained the use of solar energy and the progress being made to develop this alternative source of energy for the benefit of the global environment. Saint Anselm Professors Feick, Durham, and Parodi served as panelists. [April 10, 2006]

The Constant Gardener, based on the best selling novel by John Le Carré, looks at what happens when a British diplomat’s wife --a socially-conscious lawyer -- turns up dead in Kenya.  The diplomat sets out to find the truth behind the murder and discovers that his wife had been compiling data against an international drug company that uses helpless Africans as guinea pigs, which is fatal.  The film will be followed by a discussion about non-governmental organizations and multi-national corporations.  [November 2, 2005]
