In the show, students reflect on their time at Saint Anselm which turns into a series of vignettes of fond memories they've made at school. Each memory highlights important aspects of Anselmian life such as receiving their acceptance letter, community service, food traditions and the activities fair. In the end, the students realize the only thing left to do is to live in every moment of each year and seize the day! The show features a variety of well-known songs such as "Waiting on the World to Change" by John Mayer, "Part of Your World" from the Little Mermaid and "I'm a Believer" by Neil Diamond (also performed by The Monkeys and Smash Mouth). The Anselmian Abbey Players proudly present a musical look at a year in the life of a Saint Anselm student. This student written and directed musical features popular songs, such as "Circle of Life," "I Want it that Way," and "Living on a Prayer," while giving insight into the Saint A's experience. This production features experiences such as orientation, the Club Fair, Housing Lottery, and studying for finals, following students through nine vignettes.
