Saint Anselm College's hybrid online RN to BSN Degree Program offers registered nurses from all over New England (New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont, and Maine), who hold an associate's degree, a flexible and affordable way to earn a bachelor's of science in nursing (BSN).

Highlighted Course

Understanding Suffering (NURN360)
This course assists students in recognizing aspects of suffering while exploring approaches that promote hope and healing.

Suffering is a universal concept with physical, psychological, socio-cultural, developmental, and spiritual suffering aspects that occurs within all cultures and across the lifespan.

Professor Caryn Sheehan, of Saint Anselm College class of 1994, teaches this course. She recently co-authored a nursing book awarded the American Journal of Nursing 2011 Book of the Year Award. The book is titled, Palliative Care Nursing: Caring for Suffering Patients.
