Prayer


Women's Retreat: A one day opportunity on campus, Saturday February 23 for women in our community, including students, faculty, and staff to gather in a unique way  to pray, reflect, and share in an environment that encourages dialogue on women's experiences of faith.

Busy Person Retreat: A great opportunity to incorporate some form of intentional prayer and spiritual growth into your busy life without ever leaving campus! All students, faculty and staff are encouraged to partake in this year's Busy Person Retreat, from February 12-26. The Busy Person Retreat has three components: time to pray (participants commit to 20 minutes of prayer on their own each day of the retreat); spiritual companions (participants will be matched with a spiritual companion with whom they may meet three times to discuss faith); and gatherings (there will be a kick-off event as well as an ending celebration).

Lent Email Reflections: Visit the Campus Ministry website beginning Ash Wednesday February 13 to access daily scripture reflections written by students and staff 

Journeying toward Easter ~ Day of Reflection. Sunday, February 24. A day of prayer and reflection to prepare for the holy feast of Easter.

Campus Renew: meets Thursdays at 8:30pm in the Lower Church Conference Room. All are welcome!

Christian Meditation: Monday's at 8 to 8:30 p.m. and Tuesday's at 8 a.m.  

Rosary: Thursday evenings at 8:00 p.m. in lower Abbey Church

Stations of the Cross: Friday at 4:30 p.m. in lower Abbey Church

Adoration: St. Joseph Cathedral: First Tuesday of each month.

Almsgiving


Operation Rice Bowl to benefit Catholic Relief Services begins Ash Wednesday. Please pick up a rice bowl in the Abbey Church or Campus Ministry and give alms this Lent by collecting loose change or offering a sacrifice of your second cup of coffee.

Lent Food Drive Boxes for drop off of food will be in various locations on campus.  All non-perishable foods will be delivered to the N.H. Food Bank.

Benedictine Heritage Week, March 17-23.

Jewish Catholic Seder Sponsored by Campus Ministry and the Multicultural Center.

Vatican II and Mary:  Pr. Patricia Sullivan of Saint Anselm College will present "Vatican II and Mary" at St. Pius X Church, 575 Candia Rd, Manchester on February 16  at 7:30 a.m. followed by Mass at 8:00 a.m. sponsored by the Women of Mary of St. Pius and the NH Diocesan Council of Catholic Women. Saint Anselm will be sending a group.
