This past weekend, the Anselmian community eagerly welcomed the second highest class in Saint Anselm history—the class of 2028 with 579 Anselmians. As families drove up to their respective residence halls, they were greeted by enthusiastic student-athletes, resident assistants, orientation leaders, transition program mentors, faculty, staff, and monks clapping and cheering along the streets.
This summer, students took a deep dive into topics related to peregrine falcons, school shootings, and the Lowell National Historical Park. They conducted their research with funding from the New Hampshire INBRE program, the college honors program, and independent fellowships.
Diego Benites ’25, a history and American studies major from Tyngsboro, Mass., has been selected as the Fr. Bernard Holmes, O.S.B., Scholar for the 2024-2025 academic year. Throughout his time at Saint A’s, Benites has demonstrated leadership, shown concern for and worked to help others, and participated in the life of the College—all key attributes to receive this honor.
The newest Portraits issue is filled with wonderful Anselmian stories including a thank you to Abbot Mark Cooper O.S.B. ’71, a historic moment for Abbot Isaac Murphy, O.S.B. and a student-written feature about the wild First in the Nation experience.

Learning Outcome:
By the end of this program, participants will report an increase in knowledge of the participants regarding the financial and economic aspects of healthcare as it relates to their role as nurse leaders.

This innovative online certificate program is designed to explore the various components to develop a nurse leader, who is looking to enhance and empower oneself in advancing the future of the nursing profession.
This certificate program serves as an excellent preparatory course for the Certified Nurse Leader exam.
Modules may be taken individually. In order to receive this certificate (60 contact hours), all 4 modules must be completed.

Inside The Mind Of A Genius: Leonardo Da Vinci
In partnership with New Hampshire Humanities and New Hampshire PBS, the Grappone Humanities Institute, Saint Anselm College is pleased to announce that we will be welcoming Ken Burns to the Saint Anselm campus on the evening of Thursday, September 12th for a premiere of upcoming new documentary on Leonardo da Vinci.
As the treatment of one of the European Renaissance most fascinating and impactful artists, inventors, and humanists, this new film has been described as a departure in approach and style from any of the films Ken has done. We are honored to host this special premiere in the Koonz Theatre, to engage Ken in conversation about its contents and production, and to offer you the opportunity to take part.
We anticipate that this will be a sold out event.
