Students, faculty and staff are invited to provide input and contribute to the scoping process of the Presidential search. The team from the search firm of Isaacson, Miller are looking forward to learning more about Saint Anselm College and this important leadership role.

The majority of the forums will focus on discussing the position itself and the important opportunities and challenges that will face the new President. The questions below aim to help participants think about the future of Saint Anselm College and the ways in which the success of a new President can be tangibly measured.

  • In hiring this person, what will be the fundamental differences at Saint Anselm College one year from now, three years from now, and five years from now?
  • Are there subjective or informal measures for determining the success of this individual?
  • What organizational activities need to be sustained? Which ones enhanced? Which ones initiated?

Once the search firm has had an opportunity to meet with key individuals on campus, they will synthesize what they have learned into a position profile that lays out the key opportunities and challenges ahead for the President. This document will be a compelling description of Saint Anselm College, its history, mission, and competitive environment, as well as a realistic and enticing picture of the challenges, measures of success, and ideal qualifications for the role. Once completed, Isaacson, Miller will share this document broadly with prospective candidates and key sources. Participation in these meetings is an important contribution to building that document.
