The Saint Anselm College name and logos are some of our most important and widely used assets. They immediately identify us as one of the nation’s leading institutions. All members of the college community have a responsibility to protect and promote our brand in a manner consistent with our reputation of academic and civic excellence.

The Saint Anselm Trademark Licensing Program furthers these efforts by ensuring that the public can properly identify and associate the college’s name and logo with officially licensed products that have been approved by the college.

Any individual, company, manufacturer or vendor wishing to produce and provide products bearing the college’s name and/or logos must first obtain the right (a license) to do so. Members of the college community (faculty, staff, students and alumni), as well as retail and e-commerce locations, must obtain college-branded products from licensed and approved suppliers, called licensees.

Exemplar Associates, a specialized brand stewardship and licensing firm based in Rhode Island, has been appointed as the college’s exclusive trademark licensing agent. Exemplar facilitates the vendor licensing process, executes license agreements, markets the college’s licensed products to potential retailers, monitors the marketplace for unlicensed and infringing products, collects royalties, and much more.

Note: All promotional items using the Saint Anselm name must be approved by College Communications and Marketing. Orders should be placed with enough lead time to allow for approval levels through Exemplar and CCM.
