Transfer to Saint Anselm College
Applying to Saint Anselm College
Saint Anselm College is no longer taking transfer applications for the fall 2020 semester. Students interested in transferring can apply for the Spring 2021 semester.
In order to best serve transfer students impacted by COVID-19 and the changes to remote learning, Saint Anselm College will consider courses at your previous college or university for transfer credit receiving a grade of “Pass” for the spring 2020 semester.
We welcome applications from transfer students for both the fall and spring semesters. We know the process of applying as a transfer can be an overwhelming one. For more information about transfer admission, please contact Tony Trodella, Associate Director of Admission & Coordinator of Transfer Admission.
Transfer Virtual Visits
Would you like the opportunity to discuss the transfer process with our Coordinator of Transfer Admission?
Transfer Information Session
Tuesdays, 2:00 PM EST
Virtual transfer information sessions are led by Tony Trodella, Coordinator of Transfer Admission, who will share information about academics, campus life, and the transfer admission process. Information sessions are 30 minutes in length.
The Transfer Talks program is an opportunity for you to discuss the transfer process at Saint Anselm College and have your questions answered in a one-on-one meeting with Tony. These 30-minute sessions can be held in person on our beautiful campus or over the phone if your schedule doesn’t allow you to come to campus at this time.
Transfer Application Materials
In order to be reviewed for transfer admission, applicants will need to submit the following materials.

$50 Application Fee or Fee Waiver
A $50 fee is required with each application. Saint Anselm College will waive the $50 application fee for the following students:

- First Generation Domestic and International Students: For this purpose, a first-generation college student is defined as a student whose parent(s) or legal guardian(s) have not completed a bachelor’s degree. To create a portfolio, you can use the link embedded in the Common Application or you can create an account through Slideroom.
Credit Evaluation Process
Transfer credit is awarded for a course at a previous college/university if the student has earned a grade of C or higher, and there is an equivalent course offered here at Saint Anselm College. Up to 64 credits can be accepted in the transfer process. A student must complete a half of the courses required for their major while at Saint Anselm College.
Preliminary credit evaluations are completed for all transfer students admitted to Saint Anselm College. You will receive a copy of your credit evaluation with your offer of admission or shortly thereafter. An official credit evaluation is completed once you enroll at the college. In order for the Registrar's Office to complete your official credit evaluation, all final transcripts must be submitted.
If you have any questions about credit evaluations, please contact the Office of the Registrar.
