We need to participate for the common good. Sometimes we hear: a good Catholic is not interested in politics. This is not true: good Catholics immerse themselves in politics by offering the best of themselves so that the leader can govern.

As the 2020 national election quickly approaches, we find ourselves facing a very contradictory election cycle. As Catholic citizens, we must have a well-formed conscience. A properly formed conscience comes through prayer, Scripture and studying the teachings of the Church. It seeks to understand the truth and allows itself to be guided by the Holy Spirit.
