Gina Pike - May 16, 2020

Congratulations class of 2020! Best decision of my daughters life was made four years ago. I knew the moment we arrived for a campus tour that Saint A's was going to be the one. The sense of community, happiness, pride was powerful from day one. A home away from home that my daughter would have to feel safe and nurtured a she experienced life on her own. She became an Anselmian and she lived a better life on the hilltop. Something you really can't understand unless you witness it. On top of an excellent education and a new way of life she made friends, a family. Roommates, dance team, dance club and many more this Congratulations goes out to you as I've enjoyed watching you all grow in life together. Each and everyone of you put a smile on my face and I'm so excited to watch you in your next stages in life.
Thank you Saint A's for giving all these wonderful students a forever home. We have all been blessed to be a part of this community.
Proud Mom, Gina Pike

Nicole Ryan - May 16, 2020

Madyson,

I am so stoked for you. I know how hard you worked to get that diploma and you earned a walk across that stage today.

Sorry life got in the way, but I know you got it in you to party hard anyways.

When we first met at JOA, we butted heads a little. But we started to understand each other more and I knew I could count on you.

We had a ton of wild nights at I9 filled with green apple Smirnoff, bodysuits, and “Come Get Her.”

Since then, we’ve both grown a lot and have gone our separate ways. But I still have great memories with you and you are one of the only people from SAC who I genuinely miss.

I know you’ll make a great nurse and I hope we can hang again soon.

You should be very proud of yourself.

Much love,
Nicole

Well Done David,

It seems like it was just yesterday that we helped you to move into Dominick Hall to start your freshman year. It can't possibly be that was four years ago. Now you are leaving St. Anselms' having accomplished completion of your BA in Business as you set out to do at that time. Congratulations for achieving that goal.

You will never forget your days at St. A's: the things you learned; the friends you made; your semester in Orvieto; the charitable events you shared; the football activities of your first two years; and so much more.

Thank you for allowing me to join you in so many events at St. Anselms". I am proud to have helped you succeed there over those four years, i will continue to assist you in any way I can as you set out in life to persue a successful career based on the knowledge you gained in college.

God Bless You and please keep me in you thoughts and prayers as you move on in life.

Mike Narducci '91 - May 15, 2020

To the Class of 2020,

Congrats on an amazing 4 years on the Hilltop!  Like walking onto campus sooo long ago, I'm sure today you're just as wide-eyed and anxious, waiting to see what this "new world" has in store.  Even though there will undoubtedly be other hills to climb, rest assured that you leave "this" Hill with the knowledge, skills, and support to reach any summit.

To Matthew Narducci,

We're so proud of you!  Congrats on working hard to achieve your goals.  You left home already having that special "something", but the teachings, lessons, and friendships that you've gained during your years at St. A's, have only amplified how special you really are.

We have always said that you were going to do something to change the world.  Now is your time to do just that...

We love you so much,

Dad, Mom, Michael & Andrew

Dana Barunas - May 15, 2020

Make a wish and follow it, but if you find a different path, don't hesitate. Life is a succession of decisions we make, and after each one, we adjust and go on to the next step. Look toward your dream and you will get there even if it's a zig-zag journey and  turns out to be a different dream. Have fun!!

Assistant Director, Academic Resource Center

Dear Class of 2020,

Over the course of the past four years, I have gotten to know so many of you. I have witnessed your strong efforts in the classroom, your winning spirit on our athletic fields, and your compassion and kindness through service and community engagement. You are a special group and each of you makes me proud to be an Anselmian!

While this year may not have ended in the way any of us had imagined, or hoped, one thing is for certain-- all of us on the Hilltop will never forget your commencement day!  As alumni of the College, my wife, Alex, and I (along with our combined 21 family members who are Saint Anselm alumni) welcome you to the alumni family.

You have learned the Benedictine hallmarks of community, hospitality, and stability. You have endured academic rigor and become better versions of yourselves. You have engaged, you have bonded together, and you have changed this special place on the hill forever. You are today-- and always, “Anselmians.” And the spirit of this special place on the Hilltop will live on through your good works, kindness, generosity, commitment to community, faith, and family values.

Continue to pursue truth, wisdom, and understanding. Continue to strive for what is good and what is right. And continue to seek your path, your “conversatio,” towards helping others and making our world a better place. Congratulations and all my best for continued success…Be proud and remember where you came from!

Best wishes today and always,

-Dr. Ben Horton ‘12

Rachel Dushkewich '14 - May 13, 2020

feel TERRIBLE that so many "lasts" got cancelled for you seniors. But, as much as you have every right to grieve, I hope you're also celebrating and reminiscing about everything that DIDN'T get cancelled, thanks to YOU! Your accomplishments in the classroom, on the field, in your favorite club, in your service to the community? NOT cancelled. The friendships you built? NOT cancelled. The bonds you have with your professors? NOT cancelled. The memories you made complaining to your friends there's "nothing to eat at Davison" today, even though you know damn well no other college has food quite so good? NOT cancelled. The late nights spent holed up in Geisel, grabbing a coffee at the c-shop to pull you through finishing that paper or studying for that exam? NOT cancelled. The person you became during your four years here, and the person you helped make Saint Anselm? NOT. CANCELLED. And, even though it might not feel like it now, once this is all over, I PROMISE when you visit campus again, you'll still feel like you came back home, and NOTHING important will have changed, because Saint A's will still be there for you <3 Big hug, class of 2020, and CONGRATULATIONS <3
