On Thursday, December 6, the Center for Ethics in Business and Governance (CEBG) hosted “The Ethics of Board Diversity" as part of the Ethics in Governance Speaker Series, in partnership with New Hampshire Center for Nonprofits, New Hampshire Women's Foundation, and New Hampshire Businesses for Social Responsibility.
The panel presentation included Beth Boland, president of the National Association of Corporate Directors New England Chapter and chair of Foley & Lardner LLP’s Securities Enforcement & Litigation Practice; Vernetta Walker, president and Chief Governance Gladiator of Walker & Associates Consulting and senior governance consultant and advisor on diversity, inclusion, and equity at BoardSource; and Jeff Feingold, editor of New Hampshire Business Review.
Following the panel, guests participated in facilitated discussions to consider what diversity might mean in their nonprofit and for-profit boardrooms.
