Saint Anselm College is known for its traditions. Christmas feast, class banners, and nights in the pub -- just to name a few. Reunion is my favorite tradition, the weekend calls alumni home to see old friends and make new memories.
As every college and university is confronting the impact of COVID-19, there are no best practices to follow for this unprecedented modern-day pandemic. For Saint Anselm, we strive to do what is best for all Anselmians. In line with a number of difficult decisions we have had to make on campus recently, unfortunately we must postpone this year’s Reunion Weekend, which was scheduled for June 5-7.
Please know that we are committed to properly honoring those classes who would have had milestone celebrations this year. We have already begun planning for Reunion Weekend 2021. Those with graduation years ending in 0 and 5, and those with graduation years ending in 1 and 6, will be invited to campus for an extra special Reunion Weekend on June 4-6, 2021.
In the meantime, we encourage you to take advantage of new ways to stay connected to Saint Anselm College and your classmates. Check out the latest edition of Anselmian Connection, a weekly schedule of our virtual program offerings. Visit alumni.anselm.edu for more information.
I wish to extend my heartfelt thanks to our reunion volunteers, who worked so hard to prepare for this year’s event. I look forward to our work together as we plan for our 2021 gathering.
As we all face these uncertain times, I find peace in knowing that our alumni community remains strong and the beloved traditions of Saint Anselm College will endure. I wish you and your family blessings of peace and health.
