Fall 2021 Announcement
March 17, 2021
A year ago, we made the difficult but prudent decision to suspend in-person classes and finish the semester remotely. Those first few months were challenging, but also inspiring. We witnessed how innovative, nimble and resilient our students, faculty and entire Anselmian community could be when faced with an unprecedented challenge.
No sooner had we begun remote instruction, we were already planning for a return to our Hilltop home for the fall and spring semesters. I can say without hesitation, it has been a remarkable and exhilarating year.
Looking forward, we are filled with enthusiasm for the future. I am very pleased to share that Saint Anselm College is preparing for a robust and rewarding on-campus curricular and co-curricular experience for the 2021-2022 academic year. The federal government projects that every adult in the United States will have access to the COVID-19 vaccines by this summer. Therefore, we anticipate most if not all campus restrictions will be lifted. Our first day of classes is scheduled for Aug. 23.
This past year has tested our resiliency and I can say without hesitation that every member of our community demonstrated what it means to be Anselmian through kindness and caring for each other, creative problem solving to maximize activities inside and outside the classroom, and a perseverance through an unfamiliar and unfair moment of history. We are emerging stronger and better than ever.
We know your senior year was far from the finale you envisioned and surely you are ready to move on. On behalf of every student, faculty and staff member, and our monastic community, I invite you to join our family and begin a new and positive chapter of your life.
