In March, as a response to the increasingly uncertain times that our students are facing, Saint Anselm College launched the Anselmian Student Relief Fund. This fund will assist students who are encountering financial emergencies and exceptional needs that might prevent them from continuing their education on the Hilltop.

“In the true spirit of Anselmian care, compassion, and community, our alumni, trustees, staff, and faculty – and other students and parents! – have rallied to the aid of those among us in need,” shares Dr. Alicia Finn, Chief Student Affairs Officer. “Our collective College community is giving to the Anselmian Student Relief Fund and doing what we do best: standing up for one another!”

Thus far, the Anselmian Student Relief Fund has raised almost $35,000 to support students, and is now able to distribute the funds to students in need.

Students may request funding to meet basic needs such as food, rent, utilities, or help with medical care needs. The funds could also be requested to help meet their needs to access and complete their coursework. A full list of the funding requirements and allowable expenses is available online.

Students facing serious financial hardship are encouraged to apply by completing an application and submitting it to The Anselmian Student Relief Fund Committee will review all applications and funding shall be awarded based on the severity of the situation.

Anyone interested in supporting students in need, can make a gift to the Anselmian Student Relief Fund.
