Financial Aid for Undergraduate Returning Students

Financial aid is renewable each year, as long as you continue to demonstrate financial need and meet academic and personal standards established by Saint Anselm College and the federal government. Please read carefully the college's Satisfactory Academic Progress policy below. Full details regarding financial aid renewal policies can be found in the undergraduate Consumer Information.

See Undergraduate Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy

How to Apply

We encourage all students to apply early. Online applications become available starting on October 1st for the following academic year.

You must reapply each year and submit all required financial aid paperwork by April 15.

Students missing that deadline may lose a percentage of their need-based Saint Anselm College grant and scholarship aid for the following year.

Complete the FAFSA

The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is a free application used to determine eligibility for federal student aid programs.

Complete a new or renewal FAFSA at https://studentaid.gov

Families will be able to use actual tax information, rather than estimated, when applying for financial aid. Almost all families will have the ability to use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool (DRT) when completing the FAFSA, which allows for automatic transfer of tax information to a student’s FAFSA.

  • The only form that is initially required is the 2023-24 Free Application for Federal Student Aid” (FAFSA). After the Office of Financial Aid has reviewed the results of your FAFSA form, we may reach out to you for additional documentation so please remember to check your MyAnselm portal under My Finances, then My Financial Aid and navigate to Anselmian Aid to review any outstanding documents.
